Our team at Healthstyles Clinic is a dynamic group of friendly, highly trained professionals. We are passionate about our work and committed to achieving our clients’ goals. By taking a person-centric approach, we ensure that each practitioner is closely matched with clients based on professional interests, experience, and relevant training.

With strong connections across all our offices through the use of telehealth, joint meetings, and regular team training sessions, reaching out to Healthstyles means you benefit from over 120 years of collective experience in the disability sector. We are happy to discuss travel that meets your needs, or provide our services via telehealth.

Our team members are all degree qualified, or in the final stages of their qualifications, and are trained in the Institute of Applied Behaviour Analysis approach. Our qualifications include Social Work, Psychology, Psychological Science, Clinical Nutrition and Health. You can be confident in our staff’s capabilities, and our capacity to respond to your needs.


Robyne Lennon

Director

Principal Psychologist & Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner

Robyne is a registered Psychologist with over 25 years’ experience. As a registered NDIS Behavioural Specialist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society, Robyne offers a professional and ethical service that is understanding, non-judgemental and confidential.

Her areas of interest include:

• Disability assessment and treatment program development and implementation

• Cognitive, developmental and paediatric assessment services

• Pain management

Robyne utilises evidence based therapy methods including:

• Cognitive Behaviour Therapy techniques

• Solution Focussed/Narrative Therapy

• Schema Focussed Therapy models

Robyne supports our practitioners in delivering Behaviour Support and other therapies, ensuring their knowledge, approach, and capabilities are of the highest standard. Her extensive clinical experience in Tasmania and NSW contributes to positive outcomes for our valued clients. As a lifelong learner, Robyne continues to study and has nearly completed her Masters in Special Education.

Adrian Poole

Senior Social Worker & Behaviour Support Practitioner

Adrian is a qualified social worker and has worked in the sector for 10 years. In addition to his social work qualification, Adrian has completed a Master of Mental Health Practice degree, and more recently a Diploma in Dementia Care to further build upon his knowledge. Adrian has an extensive experience working in mental health, including therapeutic support and counselling services. Adrian works with people from a holistic approach emphasising collaboration with all support stakeholders.

Adrian’s areas of interest and experience include:

  • Understanding and describing mental health symptomology and establishing support strategies to manage these

  • Psychoeducation for clients, families and staff

  • Teaching distress tolerance techniques

  • The aging process and the impact of dementia on the individual and family.

 Adrian provides comprehensive and personalised support to individuals, families, and support providers. He draws on the skills and expertise of his team, combined with his own experience, to develop and deliver the most effective support for clients.
Adrian is based primarily in Launceston but also supports clients in the North West.


Alan Rutherford

Professional Officer

Alan is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with experience in actively supporting individuals with high intensity support needs and behaviours of concern. He brings a holistic approach to behavioural support holding a Bachelor in Applied Public Health and Clinical Nutrition. He is passionate about helping participants live their best lives using his personal and professional experience, combining clinical and public health to develop supportive environments to promote improved quality of life for NDIS participants.  Alan has a professional history in business management and aims to produce behavioural support plans and resources that help individual workers maximise their capacity to support participants, and are framed to help providers apply best practices constantly where challenging behaviours occur.

Alan is based on the North West Coast.             


Alycia Green

Senior Social Worker & Behaviour Support Practitioner

Alycia is a qualified social worker and a member of the AASW. With nearly 15 years of experience, she has dedicated her career to supporting individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges. Alycia has completed specialized training in behaviour analysis through the Institute for Applied Behaviour Analysis (IABA). Over the past three years, she has been a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner at Healthstyles, where she employs a person-centred, strength-based approach to achieve positive outcomes for her clients.

Alycia is currently on leave, and we look forward to welcoming her back in the office in 2025.


Annabelle Trotman

Behaviour Support Practitioner

Annabelle has been working in the disability sector for four years and is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She brings her experience as both a Behaviour Support Practitioner and a Support Coordinator to her role at Healthstyles. Annabelle is now available for referrals in the southern part of the state, working closely with our Principal Psychologist to serve our growing client base. 

Annabelle is passionate about:

·       Using a person-centred approach to support clients with positive outcomes

·       Drawing on her diverse skill set and experience to develop rapport with stakeholders

Annabelle is based in the South of the state.


Aubrey Haggerty

Behaviour Support Practitioner

Aubrey is a Behaviour Support Practitioner who has completed her Graduate Diploma in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Honours Year in Psychology. She is passionate about leveraging the strengths of individuals and families to develop solutions that enhance clients’ choice, control, and independence. In her previous roles, Aubrey has supported children and families in achieving their goals during challenging situations.

Her areas of interest include:

  • Child and Adolescent Psychology 

  • Culturally responsive therapy and interventions

  • Trauma-informed practice

Her Bachelor’s degree in Biology has also shaped her bio-psycho-social approach to understanding clients. 

Aubrey is currently based on the North West coast.


Ella Noble

Senior Social Worker & Behaviour Support Practitioner

Ella is a Social Worker and Behaviour Support Practitioner, and one of Healthstyles’ more experienced practitioners. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work with Honours and is a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). With a background in mental health, Ella takes a person-centred and strengths-based approach to her work. She enjoys collaborating with clients, families, caregivers, and support services to ensure the best possible outcomes

Ella works in the North and North West.


Erika Philpott

Allied Health Assistant and Community Liaison Officer

Erika is our Allied Health Assistant and Community Liaison Officer, and has worked in the community services sector for nearly 7 years. She has extensive experience working with NDIS, Child Safety Services, and in disability support. Erika holds a Certificate IV in Community Services and a Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work, and is currently studying a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance.

Her areas of interest include:

  • Youth work

  • Mental health

  • Skills building

  • Promoting positive self-esteem and self-development

Erika supports our practitioners in the delivery of their supports to our clients, and is based in the North West.


Hanna Davie

Behaviour Support Practitioner

Hanna is a NDIS-registered Behaviour Support Practitioner with four years of experience as a disability support worker. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science with Honours. Committed to lifelong learning, Hanna continually develops her understanding of complex behaviours and works alongside our experienced practitioners to refine her approach to client support. Her background as a disability support worker, combined with her qualifications, provides her with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by our clients and their stakeholders. Hanna leverages this experience to ensure she delivers an individualised  service that prioritises the needs of our clients.

Hanna works with clients primarily in the Launceston region.


Hannah Blackwell

Provisional Psychologist

Hannah is our Provisional Psychologist at Healthstyles Clinic, and has been part of the team here for more than 5 years. Hannah works closely with her clients, providing therapy and behaviour support services, as well as administering Psychological Assessments, leading group Social Skills Training, and mentoring newer staff. Hannah is particularly interested in:

 ·       Child and adolescent psychology

·       Assessment

·       Social skills

Hannah is based in our Burnie office.


Katherine Robins

Senior Social Worker & Behaviour Support Practitioner

Katherine is a social worker and NDIS Behaviour Support Provider, currently completing her Master’s in Psychological Counselling. A lifelong learner, Katherine is passionate about professional development as a means to provide best practice therapy services to her clients. She has been working in the disability sector for over 10 years, assisting participants and stakeholders in creating positive change.

Katherine’s areas of interest include:

• Childhood trauma

• Social skills training for adolescents and young adults

• Autism spectrum disorder

She works collaboratively with stakeholders to facilitate positive change for individuals and groups.


Loretta Poole

Senior Social Worker & Behaviour Support Practitioner

Loretta has been working in the disability field for over 20 years in a variety of roles, and completed her Bachelor of Social Work in 2015. Since 2021 Loretta has worked as a registered NDIS Behaviour Support Provider and therapist at Healthstyles Clinic, and she is a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).

 Loretta has established a strong referral base across the North and North West, servicing her clients using evidence based therapy methods. Her areas of interest include:

  • Talk Therapy

  • Staff mentoring

  • Developing and implementing Behaviour Support training

 Loretta offers services in a people centred, judgement free and ethical manner ensuring confidentiality and privacy are always maintained.

Loretta is based primarily in Launceston but also supports clients in the North West.


Michelle Sharman

Social Worker & Behaviour Support Practitioner

Michelle is a qualified social worker and a dedicated member of the AASW. With over 20 years’ post graduate experience, Michelle has worked with individuals and their families of all ages and backgrounds who have disabilities and/or mental health issues.

Of Aboriginal descent, Michelle brings a strong sense of family and culture to her practice. She is also strongly committed to the AASW ethics and code of conduct.

Michelle enjoys utilising various therapeutic approaches and works with her clients holistically, fostering a collaborative, transparent, and honest environment.  

Michelle works across the North West Coast.


Remington Martin

Behaviour Support Practitioner

Rem is a qualified teacher with 2 years’ classroom teaching experience and 8 years working with children and youth in the allied health field as an Early Intervention Mental Health Worker.

Rem’s special areas of interest are:

• ADHD

• Autism Spectrum Disorder

• Staff Training

• Resource Creation and Creative Digital Design

Remington works closely with our senior practitioners to bring a contemporary approach to supporting our clients and their families and is passionate about identifying strategies and practical solutions to enable them to live their most enriched lives.

Remington is based in our Burnie office.


Rhiannon Bone

Behaviour Support Practitioner

Rhiannon works as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with a strong focus on strengths-based and person-centred approaches to behaviour support.

With qualifications in Psychological Science, she has a particular interest in childhood trauma and working with young people, having almost 3 years experience in the out-of-home care sector and additional experience working in youth justice.

Rhiannon prides herself on her ability to build rapport in a short space of time, and work collaboratively to achieve client goals. Rhiannon is based at the Healthstyles Clinic in Launceston.


Sam Lovegrove

Behaviour Support Practitioner and Allied Health Assistant

Sam (Samuel) is a dedicated Core Behaviour Support Practitioner and Allied Health Assistant with over 2 years’ experience supporting Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists in the disability sector.

His areas of interest include:

• Therapeutic disability skills development and implementation

• Mentoring and social engagement

• Non-aversive functional replacement behaviour analysis

Sam brings his degree qualification in Health to the team at Healthstyles, offering a professional and ethical service that is understanding, non-judgemental and confidential. Sam has worked with people with a broad range of needs, presentations, impairments and disabilities.

Sam supports our clients with Allied Health and Behaviour Support needs in the Launceston region.


Tsitsi Chifinya

Social Worker & Behaviour Support Practitioner

Tsitsi is a Social Worker and Behaviour Support Practitioner who prides herself on making a difference in the lives of others. She approaches her work with respect, kindness, and patience, supporting her clients in achieving their goals.

Tsitsi’s areas of particular interest include:

• Creating social justice for her clients

• Engaging with all stakeholders to achieve the outcomes her clients seek

Tsitsi strongly believes in integrating a person-centred, strengths-based, and cognitive behavioural approach to deliver positive change for Healthstyle’s valued clients.

Gemma

Business Manager

With 20 years of corporate experience, Gemma works on the ground to oversee the HR & general business functions of Healthstyles, as well as coordinating day to day operations between the offices, management team and anything else that needs attention. With a bachelor’s degree in commerce, and a Cert IV in WHS, Gemma brings her passion and enthusiasm to the team.


Inthu

Intake Coordinator

Inthu is our Intake Coordinator at Healthstyles. This critical role makes her a first point of contact for many of our clients as she welcomes them to the clinic and puts the wheels in motion to allocate them to a suitable practitioner. Inthu has strong knowledge of NDIS processes and supports the whole business to ensure our participants and their families are at the centre of our work.

Business Administrator

As our Business Administrator, Jess keeps our Launceston office running smoothly, supporting practitioners to deliver effective services to our clients. Working across the whole organisation, Jess’ eye for detail, customer service skills and her unwavering commitment to the business keeps us in tip top shape.


Kaitlin

Executive Assistant

Kaitlin is the Executive Assistant to Directors Robyne & Steven Lennon, supporting both them and others across the business with critical administrative functions. Kaitlin plays a crucial role in managing schedules, handling appointments, and taking care of daily tasks. Kaitlin’s support ensures smooth communication and allows Robyne and Steven to focus on their core work, delivering outcomes to participants and supporting the team.

Steven has over 20 years in administration and business management. As the business owner, he brings his degree qualifications and varied experiences to Healthstyles Clinic, providing critical support to Robyne and the team, and ensuring participant outcomes drive all of our activities.
